OFFICIAL RULES 

The following were Rules proved by the Reference Group on 9th September 2020

01. CONTEST FORMAT:

01.1. Each edition of Sounvision Song Contest lasts 1-2 weeks and is directly followed by a new edition, so it's mentioned to exist at least 24 editions per year.

01.2. The number of participants is maximum 20 nations and that means there we be 1 Grand Final.

01.3. Only the winner of previous edition will be have the same nation in the next edition.

01.4. Each player can use the same country every 3 editions. For example if i have Greece on 50th edition, i can pick again Greece on 54th edition.

01.4. We will have 2 types of editions, the first is countries of your choice and the second type is randomize countries. For example: 

Edition 1 - Countries of your choice

Edition 2 - Randomize countries

Edition 3 - Countries of your choice

Edition 4 - Randomize countries.

01.5. In the random editions i will send you the country you got but if you don't like it you will have the option to change country with antoher draw, but then you can't change again country.

01.5. The contest will have only playlists and not recaps. 

01.6. Only the admin can add persons in the contest.

02. ARTISTS & SONGS:

ARTISTS

02.1. In Order for an Artist to represent a nation at least one of the following criteria's must be met. In a Duet and group, at least one of the singers must met one of those criteria's as well. However, do notice that you should be able to provide documentation (e.g. An Official Website):

 - The artit must be from your country. 

For example: Helena Paparizou can participate only with Greece and not with Sweden too.

02.2. An Artist or Duet or Group cannot participate 2 consecutive editions

02.3. An Artist or Duet or Group can participate every 3 editions.

02.4. Artists who have died are not allowed to participate.

02.5. Eurostars are not allowed. But the artists of Eurovision 2020 who did not take part in Eurovision 2021 (for example Diodato) can participate.

02.6. Junior Eurovision singers are allowed (If anyone has taken part both in ESC & JESC it's not allowed, for example Destiny).

02.7. Eurostars are allowed only for the small countries and these are:

Belarus

Bosnia & Herzegovina

Bulgaria

Croatia

Cyprus

Czechia

Estonia

Georgia

Hungary
Iceland

Latvia

Lithuania

Malta

Moldova

Montenegro
North Macedonia

SONGS

02.4. The language of a song doesn't need to be in nations native language.

02.5. Cover versions are not allowed

02.6. Songs that have taken part in the Eurovision Song Contest or Junior Eurovision Song Contest or Nationals Finals are not allowed to take part in the Soundvision Song Contest.

02.7. Song must available in Youtube Platform

02.8. Year limit for song is 1st January 2013, songs that released before that date are not allowed.

02.9. View Limits for song is 30.000.00 millions. (official video,audio from artist channel or record company)

02.10. Live perfomances are not allowed

02.11. Lyrics or audio video by very famous songs are not allowed (if it's antother version, for example english, allowed.).

03. VOTING & RESULTS PROCEDURE:

03.1.  Everyone have to vote in the Grand Final.

03.2. Members can't vote for their own songs.

03.3. Votes should be sent in me (Messenger).

03.4. If someone doesn't vote they will not be able to participate in next edition. And the competic song will not be disqualifed.

03.5. The nation with the Highest Score is the Winner.

03.6. If two or more nations have the same final score, the one who received points from most juries will be the winner or best placed. If we still have a tie, then the number of 12 points received is considered (and then 10pts, 8pts, etc ... until we have a winner).
