🇨🇿 Czech Republic wins the 1st edition of Soundvision Song Contest! Czech Republic participated in the Soundvision Song Contest 016 with the song "New Me" written by Zan Vávra, Jana Infeldová, Jonathan Owusu-Yianomah & Oliver Žilák. P erformed 3rd in the grand final, following Armenia and preceding the Austria. Following the jury vote, Czech Republic winning the contest with 89 points.     SOUNDVISION SONG CONTEST 01 MADRID - SPAIN ABOUT THE EDITION The Soundvision Song Contest 01 was the inaugural edition of the competition.   During the 1st Meeting of the 20 debuting nations in the competition, a random draw was made to decide each one would host this edition. On 15th November EBU announced that Spain (RTVE) will host the 1st edition in Madrid.
