Switzerland  participated in the Soundvision Song Contest 09 with the song "All We Need Is Love" written by Heinzmann, Patrick FaIsaac & Phil Cook . P erformed 10th in the grand final, following France and preceding Slovenia. Following the jury vote, Switzerland winning the contest with 86 points. Greece  participated in the Soundvision Song Contest 08 with the song "Xano Esena" written by Dimitris Kontopoulos & Romy Papadea . P erformed 4thth in the grand final, following Sweden and preceding Denmark. Following the jury vote, Greece winning the contest with 103 points.
