France participated in the Soundvision Song Contest 15 with the song "Plus jamais" written by Hélène Ségara & Mathieu Lecat. Performed 5th in the grand final, following Australia and preceding Cyprus. On the 15th of January EBU announced that Greece (ERT) will host the 16th edition. Greece participated in the Soundvision Song Contest 15 with the song "Den Exo Idea" written by Arcade. Performed 12th in the grand final, following North Macedonia and preceding Netherlands. Following the jury vote, Greece winning the contest for the 2nd rime a row (total 3 wins) with 89 points. This is the first time in Soundvision a country wins for twice in a row.
